Nestled along the coast of North Taranaki, Te Rau o Rongo is a papakāinga — a thriving food farm and apothecary wellbeing space, growing kai and rongoā in alignment with the Hua Parakore kaupapa.

Included in your wānanga:

- Forage for medicinal and edible rongoā

- Create your own bespoke herbal blend to take home

- Create your own rongoā balm to take home

- A rongoā foot soak in organic herbs and oils

- A relaxing hand or shoulder mirimiri

- A relaxing hīkoi moemoea meditation

- Pure cleansing in sacred waters

- Nourishing organic kai, created by Chef Teresa Julian

Weather permitting we will visit Taranaki maunga for spiritual nourishment and a cleansing.

The wānanga will be facilitated by Pounamu Skelton (Te Āti Awa, Taranaki), an experienced kai māra grower, rongoā practitioner and indigenous coach, who will guide and manaaki you throughout.

The wānanga is catered and numbers are limited, so bookings are essential.
